Beaconsfield Art Fair

Dear Artists,

This year we are attending the Beaconsfield Art Fair, our aim is to promote Chinese Brust Painting, support a local art event and attract new members.

The Beaconsfield Art Fair is an established exhibition and sale of quality art and crafts by local artists. It is held twice a year for over 25 years and raises funds for the benefit of the school and it’s students.

Members of Region 6 are invited to take part in the exhibition on Friday 15th May 7pm to 9.30pm and Saturday 16th May 10am to 4pm.

We need your help to display a range of Chinese Brush Painting works of art; some small framed pictures, unframed pictures mounted if possible, which will be displayed in a portfolio, these will be album size, approximately 46cm x 36cm, a range of fans both silk and paper and some cards.

There are lots of opportunities for you to take part, you can bring along a piece of artwork to exhibit or sell, come and talk about Chinese painting and what it means to you, or just come and see lots of local artists promoting their work!

Please label your artwork Beaconsfield Art Fair, your name and if the artwork is for sale or display. If an artwork is sold please let us know if any profits will be donated to Region 6 or if it is commission only. Please bring artworks carefully wrapped to Harefield by Saturday 9th May.

If you would like to take the opportunity to hang your paintings in the main exhibition, there is a small fee of £2.50 per item. This covers refreshments, hanging, and insurance. Commission on sales is 30%. Please get in touch with the organisers directly. Visit http://www.thebeaconsfieldartfair.moonfruit.com/

The Fair will take place at The Beaconsfield School, Wattleton Road, Beaconsfield HP9 1SJ

I look forward to seeing you there

thanks and best wishes,
Margaret
