13 of us were very fortunate to have the opportunity to attend a long format painting workshop with Leilei today. We were studying long format – 4 to 1 – compositions using the work of Wu Changshuo as wonderful examples.
The paintings below are the excellent examples that Leilei painted to illustrate the compositional forms and the techniques that were used to create them.
Lelei has agreed to teach another workshop on the same format next year if we promise to practice in the meantime! So, watch out for the workshop and possibly some examples in the coming months in the members work area!
